Required for leading and growing hospitality group
• Responsible for the cohesive working of resorts
• Accountable for managing, maintaining and upgrading of resorts and day spas
• Identify cost saving and improve supplier and product delivery levels
• Responsible for staff administration and HR/IR matters inclusive of recruitment, training, poor performance counselling, disciplinary and CCMA matters and union negotiation
• Undertake inspections of resort premises, identify needs for resort improvements
• Responsible for setting up/maintaining 10-year asset replacement plans & budget control
• Updating of resort insurance schedules
• Accountable for resort projects
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as Resort Manager of a medium-large resort
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience in operations, labour & financial aspects of resort, spa & outsourced suppliers
• Sound understanding of budgeting
• Knowledge of time share industry
• Driver’s license and ability to travel
• Experience in refurbishment an advantage
• Hotel management experience, including F&B at General Management level
