Required for a 4-star boutique hotel Sandton

R12k (negotiable on experience)+ Optional live-in (salary to be adjusted accordingly)

To drive profitable occupancy and conference bookings by targeting select and focused business clients, as well as marketing to the leisure travel.

• In-depth knowledge/experience of social media marketing and business optimization
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in 4/5* property and 3 years’ digital marketing experience
• Relevant Tertiary education
• Multi-lingual (English, Afrikaans, one of the indigenous languages) preferred
• Happy to call potential and current clients to gain business
• Knowledge of the Johannesburg area
• OWN transport (work travel expenses reimbursed)

This position is supported by:
• Marketing consulting company which handles our top OTA’s and pricing (in conjunction with management) on a part-time basis
• The owner who writes the blogs and the newsletters. In conjunction with the owner the marketing person will plan the release of newsflashes, blogs, newsletters etc.
